Meet Amber
Hi! I'm Amber — a kindergarten teacher with a master's in early childhood education, a writer, a wife to my best friend, and a mom to our three incredible kids.
I know firsthand how magical — and overwhelming — a child's art collection can be. The drawer overflowing with crafts. The crayon-covered masterpieces you can't bring yourself to throw away. And if you've never tried to secretly throw away one of those masterpieces — just don't. The wrath of a 7-year-old who catches you tossing that drawing that looks like a turtle but is somehow a portrait of you — is unreal.
But for real, those little drawings are honestly a window straight into your child's soul.
That's exactly why I created The Olive Leopard. I believe a child's art deserves to be worn, not just stored. When your little one sees you wearing their design on a necklace, they know — without a doubt — that what they create matters.

The Story Behind the Brand
Every great brand has an origin story. Mine starts in a little boutique called The Lime Leopard — my favorite store in the world as a teenager. Something about that name never left me. It felt boutique. Intentional. Worth remembering.
When I set out to build something of my own, I bounced around approximately one thousand rejected business name ideas until suddenly — there it was. The Olive Leopard.
Did I choose olive because it's warm and earthy and the color of creativity? Maybe. Did I choose leopard because leopards are bold and a little wild — just like the kids whose art inspires me every single day? Possibly. Or did I just think it sounded really, really cool?
...Almost certainly. Either way, I wouldn't change a thing.

How It Works
Step 1: Draw It
Your child draws anything their heart desires — an animal, a flower, their favorite thing in the whole wide world, or even their name. There are no rules!
Step 2: Submit It
Upload their drawing on our website at theoliveleopard.com. It's quick & easy!
Step 3: We Create It
Their drawing is transformed into a custom digital design, then crafted into a beautiful stainless steel necklace — each with a tiny olive leopard logo charm on the clasp.
Step 4: We Ship It to You
Your one-of-a-kind necklace arrives at your door in 4–6 weeks, ready to wear & cherish forever!
